Buffalo Sabres and Social Media

For the sake of this project, I decided to use the Buffalo Sabres. They are a hot topic right now since they are going into game six of the eastern qualifiers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.   The Sabres have tons of different pages devoted to social media. The main type of social media that I found the Buffalo Sabres use is Facebook. But before I get to Far into their facebook page let me show you how to make a facebook page.

Now that many of the world has a facebook account people can use facebook to search for man famous people, companies and sports teams. The Sabres UseFacebook quite often to update their fans on upcoming games and past seasons.  Their facebook page also allows people to see what is going on with their fans as well and see what their fans have to say. The Article shows that the sabres have begun to use social media more.

The Sabres Twitter shows even more ways to keep up with The Sabres especially during a game since the game is tweeted  and you can get up to minute information on the games. By having individual tweets about every game helps the fans know about the game if they are unable to watch the game due to the fact they are not on a channel they get.

A good way for fans to see up to date games or see replays of the games is by visiting the Sabres You Tube page. This site allows fans to watch past game plays. This is a good way for fans across the globe to get an idea what happened in the last game.

The last social media I am going to Explore that the Sabres use is the Sabres Fan Page List. This site connects Facebook and twitter into one allowing fans the ultimate stop for anything Sabres. While here you can get the up- to- date tweets about the games and see what fans have posted on their faebook page in their discussions posts.

My prediction for the upcoming social media outlets for the Buffalo Sabres is that they will continue to use what they have in the best way possible and venture out in to the new social medias once they have been created. The Sabres still want to make sure that they can connect to all of their fans whether they are in Buffalo or in another Continent.
